BGW Family Crest
Crest Description
To honor the families of Bluiett, Griffin, and Williams and to celebrate their 25th year reunion, Mary Griffin Housley, a artist and family member has designed a family crest to be adopted upon the families approval. It was approved and the crest symbolized the following:
• Idinkira style – design used that indicates our African Heritage.
• The Heart – Love.
• The Woven Links – Strength.
• The Center Cross – Faith.
• The Sunburst – Achievement.
• The Circles – Unity.
• The Crown – Symbolic of our Anglo-American Heritage.
